By attending HardTech, you agree to follow and be bound by all
terms and conditions set out by ventureLAB™.
AdmittanceventureLAB™, in our sole discretion, and without any liability or obligation to refund, reserve the right to refuse admittance to or to eject anyone that we determine:
- is behaving in a manner that could disrupt, hinder or cause a nuisance to HardTech or to the enjoyment of any other person or partner at Hardtech;
- represents a security or health & safety risk to HardTech or to any person or partner;
- and/orfails to comply with, or is likely to fail to comply with, these Terms.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws in connection with your attendance or participation at HardTech.
RefundsHardTech passes are non-refundable, but we would be happy to help you transfer your pass to a colleague, friend, or family member at no charge. If you would like to change the name on your HardTech pass, you will be able to do so until November 4, 2022 at 5:00 PM (EST). After this date you, will be unable to change the information on your pass or transfer your ticket. To change information on your pass, simply go to your Eventbrite ticket and do so accordingly.
Changes to EventWhile ventureLAB™ will try to ensure HardTech programmes, speakers, topics, venues and dates are correct at the time of publishing, substitutions, alterations, postponements, or cancellations to the content, format, themes, name, hosts, moderators, speakers, venue, timing or dates due to circumstances beyond our control may be necessary. ventureLAB reserves the right to do so at any time and will not be liable to you for any cost incurred by you as a result (including, without limitation, travel, accommodation and other expenses). We will endeavour to notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any substitutions, postponements, or changes by posting the updated information on www.venturelab.ca/hardtech.
PostponementIf HardTech is postponed, substitute passes will be provided for an event at a later date. No refunds will be provided if HardTech is postponed.
In the unlikely event that HardTech is cancelled, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the refund of paid fees that remain after credit card and payment processing fees have been incurred and deducted, and we will not be liable to you for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by you as a result of the cancellation.
Photography, Audio, and Video RecordingBy attending HardTech, you acknowledge and agree that you may be photographed or recorded by ventureLAB™ or our partners during the event. You agree to permit us, or any third party licensed by us, to use, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise globally disseminate your likeness, name, voice and words in perpetuity in television, radio, film, newspapers, magazines and other media now available and hereafter developed, both before, during and any time after HardTech, and in any form, without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit the media, the right to use the media (alone or together with other information), and the right to allow others to use or distribute the media.
Unless approved by ventureLAB™ in writing in advanced, any distribution of HardTech programming via video, image, or audio recording is prohibited.
VisaIt is your sole responsibility to take care of visa requirements. If you require an entry visa to attend or exhibit at HardTech, you must allow sufficient time for the application procedure to complete and be approved. In the event you are not granted a visa, we are under no obligation to refund your ticket.
