Garry Ma
CEO, Ample Insight
Garry is the founder and CEO of Ample Insight, a Toronto-based AI firm recognized by Forbes as one of Canada’s Best Startup Employers. He also serves on the AI Council for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Brilent, an AI talent discovery platform that streamlined recruiting for some of the largest global staffing firms and employers. He was also one of the first data scientists at Meta (formerly Facebook), where he helped build data science practices across product growth, data acquisition, privacy, and overall platform utility.
He advises startups, innovation programs, and universities on AI and data strategy. Garry holds a degree in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo
